<h2>How It Works</h2>

<p>Due to message encryption on smartphones, directly accessing messages is impossible for WMR. However, there's a simple workaround. By reading messages from the notifications you receive and creating message backups using your notification history, WMR can detect when a message has been erased and notify you accordingly.</p>

<h2>Media Files</h2>

<p>Not only does WMR retrieve text messages, but it also attempts to save any media attached to those messages. This means that if a sender removes a particular media file, you will be notified. WMR supports a variety of media types including documents, stickers, audio, voice notes, animated gifs, videos, and photographs.</p>
