How It Works
Due to message encryption on smartphones, directly accessing messages is impossible for WMR. However, there's a simple workaround. By reading messages from the notifications you receive and creating message backups using your notification history, WMR can detect when a message has been erased and notify you accordingly.
Media Files
Not only does WMR retrieve text messages, but it also attempts to save any media attached to those messages. This means that if a sender removes a particular media file, you will be notified. WMR supports a variety of media types including documents, stickers, audio, voice notes, animated gifs, videos, and photographs.
